Le début:


Welcome to my blog. I have a rather sundry personality, and I fully expect my posts to follow suit. Butter, Salt & Sugar will be my online journal, a place for me to collect beautiful things. From recipes I love to recipes I want to try, photographs of simply stunning kitchens that I could cook the afternoon away in, or summaries of books and cook books that I think everyone should read or own. Some of the photographs will be mine, others will be borrowed, I will try to give credit where credit is due, but I apologize if I miss one here or there (remember, you can always correct me if needed). Feel free to follow, I am a trained and experienced Chef, a practicing Nutritionist and aspiring Food Scientist, so please believe me when I say, I know food. I live for food.
